No, we use a natural process called ‘Photocatalytic Oxidisation’, which is the most powerful method available to pool owners of removing viruses and bacteria from the water.
Any pool requires a residual of chlorine. However, when using the Quantum it allows pools owners to use up to 80% less chemicals. We usually pair the Quantum with one of our Mineral Chlorinators to produce trace elements of chlorine – the same amount that is typically in drinking water.
